Ergonomic Jigsaw-project

This jigsaw is designed for sawing tubes and smaller object in difficult settings, with fokus on good ergonomics that a larger jigsaw don’t provide under given circumstances. The jigsaw is the perfect tool for plumbers.

The design

The design is based around the fact that the saw-blade can be turned in two different directions, giving the user the ability to both saw towards or away from himself.
When it comes to the aesthetics of the jigsaw, i wanted the jigsaw to fit into the existing product series of Bosch Professional, therefore i analyzed their existing products and transferred its design-DNA onto the jigsaw design.
